The first thing I did was braid my hair in two basic braids, otherwise known as pigtails. Annabelle has reddish brown hair, so you may want to use temporary hair color to make your hair match hers if you really want to look authentic. As I said before, this is a very basic, practical tutorial, so I understand if you are not willing to make a change like that for the sake of a Halloween look.

I am especially pale, so I used my regular foundation and plenty of it. If you have darker skin, I recommend a little costume makeup, such as the gray foundation that comes with zombie kits or white makeup that comes with vampire kits. When doing this, you may want to apply concealer to your eyebrows. I completely covered up my eyebrows so could draw on thinner eyebrows later. The makeup is really not too difficult. If you are a girl, you probably have most of it just laying around your home.

I also added a little more brown eye shadow under my mouth for a creepier effect. Next, I used the red makeup stick that came with the zombie makeup for blush. I found that regular blush was not bright enough. I simply drew a circle on each cheek and then smudged the red makeup around until my cheeks were bright red.
